In the heart of the magnificent Grands-Jardins National Park, come and admire the fall season colors in the middle of an exceptional subalpine flora during a guided hike with a 360° view at the top !

Distance : Round trip 5.4 miles / Alt. 3180ft / Elevation gain 1575ft.

Level : Intermediate (the path is very practicable).

  • On demand from october 1st to 20th 2022
  • Departure at 07:45 am in front of the Chêteau-de-Frontenac, return expected at 04:00 pm.
  • 6 people maximum

Itinerary :

  • 5.4 miles round trip, 1575 ft elevation gain, very practicable path (possibility of borrowing another hiking trail equally splendid to adapt ourself to the level of the group).
  • Alt. 3180 ft, 360° view over the Charlevoix region.
  • Without transportation, up to 4 hours (duration of the hike depends on the participants' level and weather conditions).
  • Intermediate, this hike requires a good physical condition.

You will be supervised by a professional guide who will ensure your safety from the beginning to the end of the trail, provide you with interpretation on the fauna and flora and will be present to answer all your questions.

Who can participate :

Adventurers aged from 7 to 18 years old must attend the activity with an adult.

What the activity includes :

Included : Shuttle, certified guide, entrance to the park, interpretations, hot beverage, access to restrooms at the beginning and end of the tour.

Not included : Meals ( bring your own lunch and snacks), water, spare clothing.

What to bring :

  • The hiking activity takes place outdoors from start to finish, we plan to have lunch at the top of the Mont du Lac des Cygnes where the wind can sometimes blow hard, it is important to be dressed appropriately for the weather.

- Clothes adapted to the season, do not use cotton (bring a raincoat, polar fleece and a set of dry clothes);
- Hiking boots or hiking shoes;
- Hat and gloves if needed;
- Lunch and snack (possibility to stop on the way);
- Water bottle (reusable container preferred).

Itinerary :

Major part of the travel will be done in the Panorac private vehicle, but we plan to stretch our legs during the day.

  • We plan 2.5 miles of walking.
  • Between 3 and 5 hours (the duration of the activity depends on the groups, the weather conditions and the traffic).
  • Beginner to intermediate (the Saint-Anne Canyon hike is similar to a walk and is accessible to all).

You will be supervised by a guide who will ensure your safety from the beginning to the end of the activity, provide you with interpretation on the fauna and flora and will be present to answer all your questions.
