Alone or in pairs, hop aboard an Alpacka Raft and let yourself be charmed by the beauty of the Montmorency River. Our boats are the latest generation, light and safe and will guarantee you a pleasant and unforgettable experience!

The Amazon in nature is a fun and safe 6km / 3.5 miles route along which you will encounter several islands, beaches and stops to eat, drink and even swim.

Description

Parcours Amazone en nature :

Distance : 6km / 3,7 miles, alternating calm and white water (level R1), no portage.

Duration : 2 to 3 hours (duration of the river trip depends on the level of the participants and the water flow).

Level : Beginner to intermediate (our boats are very stable, easy to control and very light (8lbs).

 

You will be supervised by a river professional who will ensure your safety from the beginning to the end of the course, explain how to tame the river before launching and will be present to answer all your questions.

Who can participate :

In general, it is recommended to have a good physical condition to attend the Amazone en Nature.
For safety reasons, pregnant women and people unable to swim are not allowed down the river. In addition, please note that dogs and other pets are not allowed.

Minimum age: 7 (see below)
Maximum age: 75

Adventurers between 7 and 12 years old are admitted under certain conditions. The Amazon in Nature requires a minimum of physical condition, that's why we always require an adult to form a pair with a child.

Minimum weight : 50lbs
Maximum weight : 250lbs

What the activity includes :

Included : Shuttle, certified river guide, boat, paddle, personal flotation device, access to a secured locker and bathrooms at the beginning and end of the activity.

Not included : Lunch, water, spare set of clothes.

What to bring :

Since the river activity takes place outdoors from start to finish, it is important to be adequately dressed and to bring a change of clothes depending on the day's temperature.

 

- Bathing suit and clothes adapted to the weather of the day (proscribe the cotton which will not warm you once wet);
- Closed water shoes (required, available for rent);
- Spare set of clothes and towel for the end of the activity;
- Hat or cap to protect yourself from the sun;
- Sunscreen (preferably mineral);
- Lunch and snacks as needed;
- Water bottle (reusable container preferred).
- Any suitable container to manage your waste during the descent (waterproof bags are available for rent).

For safety reason, alcohol is forbidden at all times during the activity.

Morning river trips: See you at 8:30 am
Afternoon river trips: See you at 12:30 pm

Cancellation :

In general, nature always decides! If the conditions of the day are favorable, Panorac will maintain the river trips (even in case of rain). However, if our team feels that the conditions on the river (weather, water flow, etc.) do not meet the essential conditions for a safe activity, a full refund will be made to the card used for payment.
